Quite the View
One of many of Albert Birch's views of Rocky Mountain National Park from his stone bungalow located in Estes Park, CO on May 8, 2022. Despite the house burning in December of 1907, the four walls and the fireplace remain standing for tourists and residents to visit. The Knoll-Willows Open Space is a 20-acre conservation easement that protects the wetlands and includes two historic structures of the Birch family.

Where to Poop? That is the Question
The infamous "Duck Squat" duck observes the grounds for where it may relieve itself in Estes Park, CO on May 7, 2022. The Duck Squat is another unique aspect of the Estes Park Rotary Duck Race Festival where a live duck is released into an open cage lined with numbered squares. The patron, who must purchase a square, with the corresponding number to whichever square the duck does its business on takes home half of the prize money. Flooded with Beauty
Water quickly flows down the lower half of the Alluvial Fan in Rocky Mountain National Park on May 6, 2022. Now a popular hiking destination for tourists and residents alike, the Alluvial Fan was once disastrous - flooding the Park and the town of Estes Park with more than 200 million gallons of water on July 15, 1982, when the earthen Lawn Lake Dam above the area gave way.
Continental Drift
