ABOUT ME
I am a proud, and recent, graduate from the Pennsylvania State University from Aurora, Colorado. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism from the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications, minors in kinesiology and sports studies, and a certificate from the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism.
I am a member of the Association for Women in Sports Media and my involvement in the Penn State Blue Band led to me holding the secretary position for Band Together, a THON organization, for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years. I am seeking a position to work behind the scenes for a production outlet responsible for producing amateur and/or professional sporting events. I am very passionate about video production and also wish to work in a field that offers the opportunity to better my editing ability.

Prior to my involvement with the companies listed above, I served the State College Spikes as a Live Production/In-Game Entertainment Associate for their inaugural MLB Draft League season, where I worked with the Director of In-Game Entertainment to organize, plan, and execute all game-day events and fulfill all game-day production needs either in the role of director, technical director, camera operator, graphics operator, replay operator, or be responsible for videoboard content.

During my collegiate career I served as a Live Video Production Assistant with Penn State Athletics, where I assisted the production department in camera and control room operations during live sporting event productions. Live events were produced for in-house video boards at the Bryce Jordan Center, Recreation Hall, and Pegula Ice Arena for sports including men's and women's ice hockey, basketball, volleyball and soccer, in addition to wrestling and softball. Multi-camera live streams were also produced for BTN.com (BTN2GO or StudentU) and GoPSUsports.com, with many StudentU events re-airing on the Big Ten Network. I was also a part of Penn State Network News, a student-run television network that aims to provide excellent coverage of the latest news, public affairs and entertainment programming for the Penn State community.

I have videography experience with the Daily Collegian and writing experience with Penn State Underground. Both are student-run media outlets focused on telling and distributing stories to the Penn State and State College community. The Underground is a multicultural student-run media site devoted to telling the untold stories within the Penn State community seeking to foster the multicultural student voice through creating an open forum of discussion and promoting diversity and community involvement. I was a sports writer and the social media editor for The Underground. You will find my published Underground articles under the "Articles" tab on my website.

I have experience interviewing athletes and as a live event studio crew member responsible for the production aspect of several sporting events and news media.

To make up for a lost internship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was accepted into the Must Love Sports 2020 summer session - an immersive 10-week program focusing on the business of sports from facilities and fan experience to social media and the rights landscape to league and team operations and beyond. Students were given the opportunity to speak with professionals in the industry, take part in weekly cohort conversations, and a summer long project and presentation.

Aside from my professional career, I worked part-time for the university with Campus Dining and as an overnight Commons Desk Clerk. In my spare time I am a Skate Host/Rink Monitor at Family Sports Center. I also manage myself as a certified pet sitter through Rover. Growing up I played softball, basketball, and co-ed ice hockey, which I still continue to play.
